Frank's Life with Pegge Abrams

Pegge Abrams was THE woman in Frank's life. They often fought and made up like a married couple . I first met Pegge at brother Frank’s house many years ago. “Wow, what a beautiful woman!” My esteem of Frank went up a few notches, having a gal that good looking in his circle of friends.

Our contacts were few over the years, mainly her sending me reports of Frank’s accomplishments, of which she was very proud.

We were quite close after Frank died. She might have seen me as a surrogate for Frank or as a way of reaching to him. She had an incredible love for and loyalty to Frank, more than he probably deserved. During our frequent phone conversations after Frank's passing she told me of their trips abroad and adventures together which I encouraged her to write about for these pages. I never received that but hope that something was recorded that might still surface. Pegge passed away on November 10, 2008, 16 months after Frank.

They are together now. If there is thunder and lightening in the heavens over Durham, it may well be Pegge and Frank going at it.
