One Kit for 24.95
Offered here are six 6 foot one piece rod kits of varying actions from light to medium. The blanks have an attractive wood-like brown color. The sanded blank is coated with a clear finish, buffed smoothe, allowing the fiberglass pattern to show through. The cost of each kit is $ 30.

The most limber blank is # 10391 and the stiffest is # 10374. Their deflections under a load of one ounce are listed below. The remainder fall in between.




The butt grips are either a 9 1/2 inch "bottle shaped" grip or an 11 inch straight grip. The straight grip is recommended for blanks # 149 and #10374. The remainder can use either one. Boring will be required with the bottle grip whereas buildup may be required with the straight grip. Reel seats are either skeletal with cork inserts or all anodized aluminum, Varmac RSA. Your choice. The foregrips shown will be provided. Click on picture for larger view.

The kit does NOT include guides, tip top, thread, cements, finishes. To fit the components to the blank may require filing to remove material (cork) or build up to fill a void. Build up is usually done with masking tape and epoxy cement.
